Welcome to Elusive Heart,

My name is Josh and I was born and raised in Southern California. I spent several years in the film industry mainly as a movie extra, print extra, or as an assistant. I worked everything from Production assistant on set to an assistant at a sound studio, extra in movies and tv, and even a camera guy on small low budget films. I have also had my share of odd 9-5 jobs in Los Angeles. I have done everything from working at Starbucks, waiting tables, working as valet driver, painting residential houses, a counselor at a kids camp, and hauling freight at a retail store. I will have to say my easiest job was doing stand-in work for a photographer that shot for Vanity Fair and GQ. I pretty much did the poses the clients would do while the photographer set up lighting and props, then when the talent arrived to shoot for the magazine everything was ready and they only used a few minutes of the clients time. My main focus today has always been video, film, digital art, and photography. I no longer work in the mainstream movies, but do my own work on twitch and social media. We live in a very awesome time to be able to create your own content on YouTube or live stream on Twitch. As you will see this website is not loaded with ads and I am not asking for email addresses. I do sell my own products and enjoy the followers and subscribers I get online, but I do not collect email addresses and do not have ads running on my site. (Below are fun photos of things I have been in if you wish to learn more.)

Photography

All Photos you see on Elusive Heart are taken by me personally. I try not to use too much post-editing and publish the photos as raw as possible. I am inspired by certain styles and technics, but will always do my own photos. I did not go to school for photography and I am by no means a professional, I have mainly self-taught myself and used YouTube to learn a lot about photography. I use a Canon T3i and also just an iPhone 8 plus.

Live Streaming

I do not have a set schedule when I stream, but I have been doing it off and on for about a year and enjoy doing some IRL type of stuff around Los Angeles and enjoy good PC games. I am hoping in the future to be able to do a live travel stream. It would consist of visiting and finding the cool and unique things that are off the beaten path from the typical tourist type of thing. (Click photo to see the live feed.)

My Journal

My Journal page is pretty much a blog and consist of the following categories, food, travel, business, gaming, and general news. I do not keep any type of score system and just try to describe my experience and opinion. We all enjoy different things and trying to rate something you may not enjoy would be a bias opinion. I have sold things online for sometime and have seen several videos and documentaries about rating systems and how companies pretty much buy reviews to pump their own business or hurt a competitors business with negative reviews. An example would be I have never really enjoyed dark chocolate so rating a new cake or candy bar that is dark chocolate I would most likely not enjoy, but many people in this world really enjoy dark chocolate. So my goal is to just write about the experience and let the reader decide. (Click Photo To enter Journal Area)

About the Logo

People say to keep the logo simple like how Nike, Apple, or Mercedes Benz has their logos. We live in different times and wanted to try something new. The Elusive Heart logo is a heart broken into 3 parts. Part one is a clock representing time we have as a person. The second part is the shattered side representing being broken. Not necessarily a broken heart from a breakup, but a broken heart from a rough past and imperfect life. The bottom part is a keyhole that is locked for the things we hold dear to us and we keep as secrets. I like the steampunk creative trend going on and gave the logo a steampunk vibe.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”100px”][vc_separator color=”mulled_wine” border_width=”3″ css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_empty_space height=”100px”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

I have a pretty silly sense of humor and just try to enjoy life as much as possible! Here are some photos of me just being dumb.
